On the third Thursday of each month, I.B.M. Ring 287 and S.A.M. Assembly 127 meets at the Bay View Senior Center , 2000 E. Lloyd Street Pensacola.  The meetings start at 6:45 P.M. and you are invited !

A typical meeting consists of a short business meeting, a "teach in" conducted by one of members, members performing magic regarding a specific theme for the meeting and time for any other magic members would like to perform.  We often have a raffle or auction off magic books, magazines, and props.  Refreshments are usually served.

The themes at recent meetings have included: sharing preparation tips, hints &  suggestions, a creative magic contest, a buy, sell & trade night, an evening discussing magic books and performing tricks that we learned from books and an evening sharing self-working card tricks.

Membership ranges in experience and involvement from novice, to collector, to professional. 
Ages of our members stretch from 15 to 91. 

In recent months events, projects, and special meetings has keep us busy.  This past Fall had our second public show and our first awards banquet and show.  Since October 2002 we have been publishing our own newsletter, Hocus Focus.

Looking to the future, we have some very interesting, entertaining and fun meetings & events planned.  We are in the process of starting a youth magic program for young persons interested in the art of magic.

Several times a year we bring in a guest magician lecturer who conducts a workshop and teaches us various new magic effects.
