The entertainment for the evening which was provided
by magical performances from our members were great ! The master of
ceremonies for the evening was Drew Kloman.
To start the show was Beau Broomall with a very nice jumbo 3 card monte
performed to music followed with a vanishing "banana". Following came Al
Grim who did a mental prediction routine in which the audience became the
magician. Charles Moody did a quick show routine with prizes in which the
consolation prize was a "washer and dryer". Belinda Black, also known as
Bubbles the Clown did a magic cup routine in which tried 3 times stepping on it
while reading the instructions for the trick directly out of the instructions
that came with it. Bruce Walstad, our president, was next in which show us
a book reading mental routine and a 3 number prediction. Thomas did a card
turn routine with the help of a member from the audience. The last
performance was by Charles Dunn who show us 2 gospel routines. One called
the sin notes and the other one involved a rope going through a balloon.
To finish it all, our master of
ceremonies, Drew Kloman, told us one of his stories about the time that he took
his suit to the cleaners but forgot his rabbit inside the suit. When he
got the suit back the rabbit was all flat !
